What I liked

the care, and the support that not only the child got but also the whole family. it was such a critical situation for a very long period of time, but we had the utmost respect for the medical team, their obvious dedication and consideration that they showed. throughout the whole time that he was there the family were welcomed and nothing was to much trouble. a magnificent hospital, we are very lucky to have such a place,and such dedicated staff. even the security staff were always helpful and curteous and never complained on the many times that i had to be walked back to the parents accomodation. i would also like to mention the cleaning staff who worked with enthusiasm and dedication to ensure that the environment was always immaculate.

What could be improved

personally there is very little that i could possibly comment on here as we received care far above and beyond our expectations.

Anything else?

God forbid anything happen like it did with our son again, but if it did, i feel more secure knowing that such a hospital and staff are around. I never expected a child of ours to become so critically ill that he needed such intensive care for such a long time, throughout the whole horrific experience i personally do not feel that anyone could have done anymore. the support was fantastic, not just for spike, but for the whole family, and we still keep in contact with the angels that cared for him, they are now without doubt part of our family, and we will be eternally grateful to everyone. i am also a nurse and midwire and have worked in many hospitals, but GOSH is special!
