What could be improved

Thomas Audley ward is short staffed a situation made even worse when nurses have to leave the ward to collect medicines or equipment. My mother was and still is in a bay of 4, she and another lady both need help for washing; eating and bedpans. Some of this requires 2 people therefore making the staff shortage even worse. Also not all the staff are caring angels! I think they must be sick of my complaining, but the lady lying in that bed is my beautiful Mother. All I ask is that staff treat each and every patient as they would wish their own family members to be treated, with kindness, patience and respect. Some staff are unsuited to the job whereas others have exactly the right attitude. AND BOY DOES IT SHOW! I do believe a lot of the problems on this ward are down to budgets.
