"Inadequate"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

I attended ear nose and throat clinic today as my doctor sent me as a casualty, having been in increasing pain for 3 weeks, my doctor examined me with a glove down my throat and found it to be tender between my ear and my throat, his notes said my ear was clear but that I needed to see a specialist as the pain was waking me in the night and ibuprofen and paracetamol were not working I am also taking penicillin which has no effect. I saw someone at clinic I was in extreme pain she said I had a clear ear and throat and she didn't know what was wrong and did I have a migraine or bad teeth or was I under stress ? Then she went to consult a specialist who didn't see me but who said I should be prescribed amitripcalin ? I refused this as I know it is a tranquilliser and addictive, she then suggested co- code mol and suggested I went back to my doctor if no better and maybe I would be sent to neurology clinic ? I am still in pain and I found them to be condescending .
