My 13 year old daughter had a minor op this morning. The Consultant did the op well, but his manner and impatience was not appropriate when he was aware my daughter was very anxious, thank god the nurse was understanding and kind, he showed not one ounce of understanding and was rude to my daughter, and would not even let me (her mother ) stand next to her while the 10 min op (local anaesthetic) was being carried out. Would ask for a different Dr. if ever had to go there again for any reason. As soon as we walked out the room my daughter sobbed all the way to the car.
