What could be improved
Everything. ive been in better vets surgerys.
Anything else?
In the last 15 years ive attended the pilgrim hospital 3 times for fractures. not 1 of the fractures were spotted and treated until i made complaints or made further visits. and at the moment i am nursing a injury to my right foot. i went to pilgrim hospital on the 7 / 11 /08 with a suspected fractured foot i was told it was sprained and was given an appointment for the following week. i returned to the fracture clinic where i was told it could be a sprain or it could be tendon damage. i was then told ok you are free to leave it will fix itself. it is now 10 weeks since my injury happend and i cant walk or put any weight on my foot. it is still swollen and very painful. so i rang pilgrim and explained what had happend so far and that i was unhappy with what had so far been done ( nothing ). i was told to ring my doctor who would then refer me to the hospital.
who would no doubt send me home again untreated. so forgive me for saying this is probably the worst hospital in the uk. i have no faith in the pilgrim hospital whatsoever so to get my foot sorted may take a lot longer as i will not go back to the pilgrim hospital. if this foot turns out to be broken or fractured i am going to sue as once might be a mistake twice unlucky but 3 times is negligence. my advice to everyone is give this place a wide birth.
