"failure to keep appointment promise"

About: University Hospital Lewisham

I was admitted to cardiology in Jan 2014 and told an appointment would be made, considering i am already under this department and they have failed to see me since 2012. It's now May and no such appointment has been forthcoming, am very upset and am clearly unwell and getting worse since the promise of an appointment.

The trust would like to offer its sincere apologies if you have not received an appointment as expected. If you are able to contact the PALS team on 0208 333 3355 or pals.lewisham@nhs.net with your name then they will find out what has happened to your appointment letter. Alternatively if your symptoms are getting worse we would urge you to go to your GP and ask them to refer you to the Cardiology department at the hospital to get a new appointment made for you.
