Had an appointment today with my teen son in the CDU dept at the JR, after my last visit to the children's A&E dept last week I was pleasantly surprised to find staff willing to help, communicate and help formulate a care plan for my son's ongoing needs. The nurses were helpful, caring and understanding as well as showing empathy for my child, the Doctors were informative and caring in their examination and treatment of my teen. Came away with a clear view of what was happening with my son's health, a follow up appointment, a long term plan and contact details if I was worried or concerned before his next appointment.
