"3:30 hours and counting and doctor is a no show"

About: Guy's Hospital

My brother has been moved in florence ward after visiting ae with kidney stone problem. Since arriving here with severe kidney pain its been above 3 and a half hours and counting and no doctor show up to prescribe my brother pain killers. The current staff gave him some standard pain killers with no effect so far. Watching my brother for almost 4 hours being in severe pain is no joy at all. I'm not sure how the staff can leave a patient in severe pain for this long and not chase the doctor to make decisions on how to proceed. Even after several times trying to talk tobthe staff to get hold the doctor we were told that is awarr and is busy with something else forbthe last 4 hours. Not really sure what can take 4 hours and not really sure if the staff couldnt get hold of a different doctor as the one they are trying to reach is careless leaving the patient in pain for almost 4 hours. Wont recommend to anyone this kind of experience.
