About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I attended Monklands A&E in early May. I often hear negative stories about this hospital, but I am glad to say I was taken very quickly and the care was 100%. I am a nurse myself so I do know how things should go.

The nurse seeing me made sure I understood what was happening and when. She also gave me clear instructions on what to do in the following two weeks. I just wish I had remembered her name as she deserves praise.

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience of the A&E Dept., at Monklands Hospital on Patient Opinion.

I am delighted that your care and experience was so positive. The A&E team work extremely hard to give patients and their relatives & carers the highest standard of care whilst in the A & E Dept and also assist the patient to make a speedy recovery with aftercare advice.

I will pass on your kind comments to the A&E nurses and wish you a speedy & uncomplicated recovery.
