"Hip replacement"

Right Hip replacement. I was lucky enough to have the option of having this surgeon do my operation on the NHS at this hospital. I am 71 and have had my left hip resurfaced 8 yrs ago at Basildon by the same person. My experience at Hartswood was so good that I need to praise the staff otherwise I would feel that they were not being recognised for their overall and consistent and amazing care. From reception to leaving the hospital, I can find no fault. He is a great surgeon and so nice to have look after you. The nursing and care staff are friendly, happy in their jobs and always available when needed. I never felt I was a nuisance when I pushed my buzzer, day or night. My visitors were made to feel welcome whenever they came. Due to the care I received from all the staff, I was able to come home after three days, confident that I could manage my recovery, with help from my family. If I have to have another operation which is performed at Brentwood Hartswood, I will definitely book here again.
