About: Wrightington Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I went into hospital as a day patient. I was made to feel welcome straight away by the staff on ward 1.

After my procedure I discovered I would have to stay overnight and transferred to ward 6. The staff on both wards could not do enough for me. I never felt that I was a burden even though both ward 1 and 6 was full.

Really excellent standard and choice of food to choose from. I was almost sorry when I had to leave.

Well done to everyone from the cleaners to the consultants. I had an exceptional stay.
