Fractured my ankle in September and started physio in November. Was referred to lower limb exercise class and started in March for 6 sessions.
Emma, the physio, was excellent and took time to explain the exercises and the way the body works/heals. There were approximately 6 patients in the class and she took the time with each of us to make sure we were exercising correctly.
We also had a student physio during some classes – from Salford Uni – and he too was excellent.
My main problem was confidence, but I was assured my ankle was up to it!
