Mum was driven in by a member of the family after having small TIA to AE department on a Week end. My mother was giving her information to the AE nurse after having a CT scan which will only show a bleed and not a clott on the brain.
Mum had been giving her own details when she had a massive stroke there was no thrombalising to disperse the clot, her treatment was an aspirin in the rectum. My mother ended her days with 30% brain infarction, left paralysed and unable to swallow or speak all for the cost of a £600 drug in favor of one that costs pennies.
