"Hopeless information"

About: East Riding Community Hospital

I phoned at 5.50 pm on behalf of my daughter to find out if the hospital was open. I had to phone because there is no information about opening hours on the website. I tried minor injuries unit and was told the mail box was full, please ring later. I tried the out-patient reception and the phone was not answered - how useless, a hospital that does not tell you if it is open.......or when it might open.

Thank you for your feedback. We’ve let Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals (who operate the MIU at Beverley) know you had problems getting through on the phone. The current opening times are now displayed but it’s worth checking back as operating hours do change periodically. We are in the process of updating the information on NHS Choices about East Riding Community Hospital. However, clinics and services are operated at different times of day so for individual services, it’s best to contact the clinic directly using the number on your appointment letter or if it’s during business hours contacting the hospital reception.
