"Orthopaedic Unit"

About: Torbay Hospital

I would commend all the staff involved during my visit to Torbay last month, for remedial work on my right knee, after a previous joint replacement in 2012. The care shown by the staff in the Surgical Admissions Unit was excellent, and well organised. The after care in Ella Rowcroft Ward was also to an excellent standard, I thought, both Nursing and Ancillary Staff exhibited care and attention to the highest standard, nothing was too much trouble. I am unable to comment on the theatre staff, as I was well sedated whilst there, but my knee is healing well, and the pain experienced prior to the operation has gone.
