My elderly mother is a patient in Pinderfields having sustained a broken hip. The care she received has been first class from the paramedics, ambulance staff, A&E and on the ward. The problem has been in finding information about my mothers condition. I live in Norfolk, so the only contact is by telephone. I have tried from 0730 to 0900 this morning and have been unable to speak to anyone. I have tried all available phone numbers including an 0844 number and the ward number but have had no response. As you can imagine this is a great concern, particularly as she is scheduled for an operation this morning.
