"Rheumatology"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

Having waited a while for an appointment after referral from doctor, I finally managed to see a rheumatologist in October last year. A further appointment for a review was to be booked 6 months later. I received a letter with an appointment for June of this year. However this has now been cancelled with a new appointment booked for January 2015. That will be 16 months after 1st consultation instead of 6 months.. Having rung DGH to see if I can get an appointment before I was informed that this was the first available one. Looks like the 'shut down' of another service.
