"Gold star to Ward A1 and Stepping Hill"

I had a couple of days on ward A1 - the nursing staff and healthcare assistants were excellent, I was honestly shocked at how much work the nursing staff had to do, they never moaned and appeared cheerful and made me lots of cups of tea! Nothing was too much effort. The staff were polite and respectful. I would also like to mention the doctors were also excellent both on the ward and in outpatients Ophthalmology and the Staff in the CT department who made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The experience as a whole (still ongoing with appointments) has restored my faith in the NHS.
