I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the best Christmas gift I have ever had... my eyesight. After wearing spectacles permanently for the past 50 years, I underwent cataract surgery on both eyes last month, with amazing results. So good that I can do anything I want to, without "jam jar bottoms", and to see vivid colours like I have not seen in such a long time.

The courtesy and professionalism shown to me by all the Surgeons and staff at the eye department of St James' Hospital was exemplary,

So a great big thank you to all, especially to Mr David Stopes & Mr David Gilmore who carried out the procedures.

Anyone who is worried about having this operation should leave their fears behind them, the results speak for themselves.
