"Wonderful First Appointment with Consultant..."

I have just returned from my first appointment with consultant dermatologist and was taken aback by the wonderful service I received. I suffer from a chronic skin condition and in recent months it has become debilitating. I have never encountered a doctor who is so patient led, empathic and respectful. She took the time to fully understand my situation, explore my views about how to proceed and explain different treatment options to me. She displayed kindness and compassion that was much needed but so often lacking with this condition. I went in feeling desperate and left with hope. Thank you so much.
