"appreciation of the teatement offered"

About: Hillingdon Hospital

This review is to appreciate the treatment i received especially from Dr and the health care assistant sometime in March (20/03/14) if the date is correct but it was somewhere around there. It was my first outpatient appointment as there was ? polyps the same problem i had 2years back. These two made me feel so easy and comfortable. This is a procedure that normally makes me have a lot of anxiety and feel uncomfortable about. But Dr was so nice and lovely and joked with me all way and made me laugh from the time i got into his consultation room all way through to treatment room and before i new it i was done and the polyp taken out. The atmosphere was so relaxed but at the same time best treatment was being offered. I felt that he understood the psychological impact of the procedure and how uncomfortable the procedure can be to different individuals. The healthcare assistant was equally lovely and laughed with me while in the treatment room awaiting the Dr to come in and even after the procedure was nice to show me what a polyp looked like after being placed in its protective bottle for further tests. This was a good experience from two great people who seem to love what they do and treat patients with dignity and respect. I say keep up the good work and good spirit for the recovery of your patients.

Thank you for your really nice comments regarding your experience in the outpatient clinic; we appreciate that you have taken the time to share this and we are happy that your experience was good. I have shared your feedback with the staff on the unit, they were delighted to hear your comments; they do strive to deliver a good service and it is always good for staff moral to receive praise where praise is due. Kind Regards Christine Lowe-Faria Matron Outpatients
