The care I received on the heart and lung ward leaves a lot to be desired. The bay I was in was left without water for a whole night. And we were all bedridden due to surgery at the time. Another night when I was having trouble sleeping I asked for a cup of tea. This was not possible I was told as the nurse speaking to me needed to go for her tea break right then. A little old lady in the bed diagonal to me was screamed at to get out of bed when she kept saying she couldn't. When she could no longer tolerate being shouted at she stepped on to the floor and her legs gave way. She was then shouted at for grabbing the nurses arm to stop her falling. The list goes on. To say I was sorely disappointed in my care was an understatement and if I ever have to go into that hospital again I will be dreading it.
"Non existent professionalism"
