"Excellent caring service"

I attended A& E after suffer severe back pain. I decided to attend very early just after 7am so that I did not have to wait long. Parking is available just across the LGI in a multi-storey car park. I registered at A& E reception and attended the A&E unit. There was only one couple waiting. I was called within a few mins and explained my symptoms. I was given pain relief and told to wait for a Doctor. I was seen after 40 mins. After a exam I was sent for an X-ray. The lady in the X-ray room was friendly, patient and understanding. My results were clear. I was given strong painkillers which I collected from the outpatient pharmacy located just adjacent to the main reception area. Again the lady who have me my medicine was friendly and understanding. Overall everyone from start to finish was professional and understanding which was v important in my case as I was alone and in considerable pain.Thank you keep up this level of care. X
