"I never know when to expect appointments and cannot contact the hospital"

About: Manor Hospital

(as the patient),

I have been waiting since december 2013 for my appointments to come through which should have been no later than March 2014; as yet still no appointments and we are now in May. So what on earth is going on at Walsall manor hospital, it used to be great when you made your next appointment if required on leaving the consultant give the paperwork to the clerk on the desk and hey presto all sorted.

Now you never know when to expect an appointment and when you ring the appointments you have to hang on so long that you end up hanging the phone up, a for instance today I have tried to get through no less than five times at different times of the day" and up to yet I have spent 1hr 15minutes on the phone and still not got through but I have been charged for these calls with no result at the end of it my latest attempt was 4-15 today and I have just put the phone down at 4. 43 and still not got any answer just an automated voice saying they are busy and to try later ? How much later do they want, you can ring numerous times and it is always the same.

So come on bosses. In my opinion it should go back to the old system when patients knew what and when they were required to attend appointments and hopefully we should see consultants when we should and not months later when in some cases the outcome is more serious than it should have been if they had been seen on time.
