"I gave birth to both of my children here"

I had both of my children at Watford General and cannot recommend it highly enough. The care from the moment I arrived until the moment I left was fantastic and although I had problems in both of my labours the midwives and Dr's remained calm and explained everything to me as they were going along. The hospital was exceptionally clean and there was help on hand whenever I needed it. The only let down was after having my second child and not barely being able to walk after an epidural I was left to get to the shower myself and come back again (easier said than done) My husband had his appendix out at Watford last year and the care again could not be faulted especially as they were unsure for a couple of days exactly what the problem was but kept him in to keep an eye on him. My daughter is also under the care of one of the consultants at the hospital and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is so caring and patient with her and has made her experience of hospital a good one. Hopefully none of us will need to go to hospital any time soon but if we did it would be straight to Watford.
