I fairly regularly attend the oncology day unit for blood tests. Although my consultant works at Lincoln County Hospital I am always provided with excellent facilities at Hexham Hospital which is the nearest hospital to our second home. The building is superb as are standards of cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff. The phone is always answered quickly and I rarely have to wait more than five minutes for my blood test. I could not rate the staff more highly. Not only do they take my blood but provide advice when necessary. I am always amazed at how they remember me from one visit to the next. I will be eternally grateful to Hexham Hospital. It is the best I have ever attended.
