"co-ordination"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Although the staff and doctors are all very kind, I had a problem spotted on an ultrasound scan back in Jan / Feb this year. It is not an area for maxillofacial so they advised they would write to my GP - I checked last week and still my GP has not been informed - I hope therefore its not serious! When there are potential other problems found and people are suffering surely the department should make sure the relevant medical personnel are notified promptly, I rather think that the follow up lets the doctors down in this dept

Dear reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We appreciate the kind words you have about the staff, however we are incredibly sorry and disappointed about the apparent lack of communication with your GP. If you could please send your full name, DOB, address, contact number and hospital number (if known) to Catherine Seaby, Operational Manager for Oral and Max Fax, catherine.m.seaby@uhl-tr.nhs.uk. Catherine will work with the service manager to look into this for you ASAP to find out what has happened here. (Please mention that you are following up on this comment in your email, we have sent Catherine a copy of your comment in advance so she is waiting to hear from you) Kind regards Communications Team Leicester’s Hospitals
