"Mastectomy and breast reconstruction at Spire Regency"

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed a full mastectomy. I was advised that as I needed chemotherapy and radiotherapy it would be better to delay reconstruction until 6 months after my treatment ended. I waited until this year to have my reconstruction but am now 2 weeks into my recovery following my reconstructive surgery.

The care started with my registration right the way through to my departure. I was attentively looked after and welcomed the time my surgeon and anaesthetist gave me pre and post operation. I am so pleased with the result and have huge appreciation for all involved with my direct and indirect care, especially my surgeon.
