"Communication!"

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

I am a patient at the Cardiology Clinic. Why is it impossible to get any response to contacts with this department, or I gather from other patients, St. Mary's in general? Phone calls are answered by a machine which states 'leave your details and we will get back to you', this never happens, there is no response. I tried to alter the time of my appointment on 9th July at 10am as I have a long journey, there was no change of time but recently I have a letter cancelling the appointment and giving me one a week later 14th July at the same time! This is more than 4 months after the heart procedure, patients are normally seen 3 months after a procedure. I wrote to the Consultant at this department at the beginning of April, explaining the problems of confusion between medication given by them and Hammersmith hospital. There has been no acknowledgment or reply to my letter. St. Mary's seems alone in treating patients in this manner!
