"A+E Friday morning"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

Mother in law fell at home and fractured hip. Triaged, bloods,ECG, obs within 20 minutes of arriving in A+E. CT and X ray within an hour following this, followed by swift referral to orthopaedic team and admission to an orthopaedic ward within 4 hours. Staff were professional, calm, informative and respectful. Environment safe and restful. Staff happy to answer questions honestly. I am a senior healthcare professional (not in this Trust, and staff were not aware of this) and was very impressed with the quality of care given.
