Thank you to all the nurses in D8 ward and the consultant when I had my whole thyroid removed and stayed in overnight on the 25th March 2014. Great aftercare, can't fault anything. Had my follow up appointment today with the consultant in Endocrine and everything good and healing well after a month and my scar will be hardly visible in a few months. Amazing man and truly appreciate what he has done for me and making me well again. Who needs private healthcare when you have brilliant NHS staff looking after you. :)

Thank you for taking the time to write in and tell us of your experience, I am really pleased to see that you had a positive time following following your surgery. I will of course pass on your kind comments to the Endocrinology Department as I am sure they will be pleased to see that their hard work and good natures was truly appreciated.
