My father was dying and a hospital bed was delivered to our home, amazingly the poor delivery guy was alone with ten stone steps to drag a heavy bed, wheeled commode, overbed table and propad cushion...he had to dismantle the bed outside to enable him to lift it...we just thought it was disgraceful he had to do all this alone.
After my fathers death we informed the company to collect these items, we received calls telling us more equipment was on its way to us....they had no idea he had died! although the office had been told...and yet another call to add more distress to my mother......the equipment was fantastic...but we think poor communication within the office needs addressing considering they are dealing with terminally ill patients.
