About: Southmead Hospital

I recently stayed on ward L (short stay) following thyroid surgery. I was very nervous at the thought of having surgery on my throat but was put at ease by all staff that I came into contact with once admitted. The ward seemed to be adequately staffed and I did not feel ignored or guilty for asking for what I needed (as I had during a stay at a different hospital) Thank you for a very positive experience of NHS care.
