"72 YR Old Recent Stay"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

From the moment I arrived at a&e until I was discharged 12 days later from Gundulph Ward I can say that the treatment I received was excellent. I was processed through triage and then a&e inside of 1hr. I was given food and drink while waiting to be admitted to a ward. On the ward I found everyone looked after me well and I saw that the staff were well aware of which patients needed personal care with eating, drinking and personal hygiene. This hospital gets a lot of bad press which in my opinion is not justified. I would like to thank and congratulate everyone.

Thank you for your positive comments about the excellent treatment you had received regarding your journey from the A and E department through to the ward.Your experience of our services are a example of how things should work for every patient every time so I was pleased to read that we met your expectations.

I was also heartened to read that your observations of staff meeting the individual needs of our patients had also been met.
