About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital

My Grandad who is 85 years old was admitted to short stay ward 9 weeks ago with a blockage below his stomach... He is unable to eat because it causes him to be sick. He was moved to Juniper ward 4 weeks ago... Still after 3 Endoscopys with biopsies taken he still hasn't has any results or feed back from consultants... Where he is not eating he has gone from 85 kilos to under 60! He is like a bag of bones.. . I have visited on occasions where his fluid drip had run out at 8am and still not been replaced by 4pm... I am appauled at the lack of medical care he is receiving... In my oppinion because he is old his treatment is being left and I dread to think if he isn't eating soon what will happen to him.
