"Excellent care during my stay on ward 23 cardiac, at good hope hospital"

I went in with chest pains and high blood pressure. I went in by ambulance through A&E.

I was seen by nurse straight away, and seen by doctor within 30 mins. I was admitted to cardiac ward, and had blood tests and then seen by cardiac doctor on ward. I was told I needed angiogram, and had to stay in hospital from the Wednesday night through till following Tue, until I could have the angiogram. I had to wait due to the Easter holidays. I had excellent care from all the staff on ward 23 throughout the day and night.

I had the angiogram on the first available slot on Tuesday. I received an excellent level of care throughout the procedure and after care in recovery.

I would definitely recommend Good Hope Hospitals Ward 23 Cardiac ward. I found the level of care was excellent, there were excellent friendly, caring staff, and even during their long 12 hr shifts, the staff continued to work hard and meet the needs of all patients.
