I was extremely nervous, despite having researched and read issues leaflet. The surgeon and all the team were excellent, they answered my questions, tried to put me at ease. One even offered to hold my hand throughout the procedure. Please accept my apologies for squeezing so hard. I would highly recommend this hospital as all staff encountered pre and post op were so pleasant, polite and helpful.I spoke with the surgeon's secretary who again did all she could to assist me. Overall they made the experience as painless as possible.Wow what a difference this surgery makes, I can now see colours clearly, so bright & actually wondered how I managed before. My second eye will be done in June. Thank you to everyone at QE. If like me you were anxious about having this surgery then be reassured it is a little uncomfortable but the results are well worth it ! I had my operation 4 days ago. Julie Prentice
