About: Cumberland Infirmary

If you have on going appointments which you need bloods done they really needs to be some where you can this done within the hospital. At the moment I am given the form to take to my GP but if you cant get in with them I cant get my bloods done before my next appointment. May it has been my fault with not booking earlier but surely there should be this service in the hospital I know that Bradford Royal Infirmary has this service so why cant Cumberland Infirmary this is a major hospital in Cumbria.

The position regarding taking blood samples for patients attending the hospital varies according to the specific circumstances , so I am unable to comment in your particular case why accessing the hospital Phlebotomy ( blood ) service was not the case here.
