"Extremely disappointing care"

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

After over four hours waiting I had a simple blood test (for possible DVT) and allowed home with a promise I would be called in 60-90 minutes with the results. No call came through and I kept trying to contact someone at the A&E department for several hours, with no success. Either there was no answer or staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. It took me an additional two hours of calling to finally reach someone in the morning (12 hours later) to get the results. It is extremely disappointing to get such poor support for a service we all pay a lot for and there seems to be no accountability ...
