"Accident and emergency and ward care"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

My husband was brought to you by ambulance, he was seen very quickly and efficiently in A and E. He was then transferred to a ward where he was treated and monitored very carefully. After having emergency surgery ( of which I was phoned by a very compassionate nurse ) he then went to the intensive care unit. The nurse in charge was amazing so calm in what was to me an awful time. I was kept in formed of all the developing issues and when my husband had to be transferred to the MRI I cannot praise them enough, they reassured me and my husband constantly and ensued that the journey would be incident free. When I arrived at critical care at the MRI they were there to make sure my husband was passed over to their staff . I cannot praise them enough and am forever in their debt. If I ever have to go to Macc hospital I will go with confidence as the nursing and Doctors are second to none. Thankyou so very much.
