"Fabulous department"

I had my first baby here in the birthing pool, any fears worries etc were quickly laid to rest as the staff were fantastic. It was a calm environment, amazingly spotless and my husband and I were very much kept informed, checked upon and every effort was made to make us comfortable. After he was born we were given as much time as we wanted to bond as a family and were certainly not pushed out the door as soon as possible. As a first time mum I had never breast feed etc before and nothing was too much trouble to ensure that this was achieved without any traumas . I cannot fail to recommend this unit, the staff and facilities are a true credit to the hospital.
