"Treated promptly and with with kindness and..."

I was treated in the Day Surgery unit and the staff were universally helpful, warm, kind and caring. I was consulted, listened to and treated with respect. Every element of my treatment and the procedures was explained to me clearly and carefully and I felt very confident that I was being given a high standard of care. The ward was clean, bright and modern. I received treatment within two days of first contacting the hospital which was very impressive. When I initially visited the hospital I went to the A&E department, where I was also seen promptly and received a similarly excellent level of care and kindness.
