About: Stafford Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

My mother took ill at road service station and was referred to Mid Staffs hospital A & E

conditions were disgusting, doctor was worse than useless. Paramedics were concerned about her heart readings and insisted we go to A & E. Mid Staffs doctor told us she had indigestion! !

My mum was treated in the corridor next to a toilet that smelt like the sewer.

I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied when your mother attended A&E recently. I apologise for the fact that your experience was poor.

We really try hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive from our patients
