About: Bristol Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

i was gobsmacked at the time it took from injuring my head to being treated.you read of bad experiences, mine was totally the opposite. i split my head open at 5.0 oclock and had been through triage and on a bed being stitched up by 6.bearing in mind the ambulance had to get there from nailsea in the rush hour,i think that is truely amazing.the nurse was very calm and professional, taking an hour and a half to tidy me up so as not to leave unneccessary scars, sincere thanks for that..maybe i was lucky in the fact i picked a quiet time to rearrange my scalp but even so,the experience was very satisfying if that is the right choice of words.hats off to the a and e staff, its not their fault they get over run sometimes, some of the minor ailments people go there for taking up valuable time should never be admitted but thats another issue. wont waffle on no more, just say well done and thank you to everyone involved.fantastic service

What could be improved

a way of getting a personal message to the nurse or doctor who treated me would be good.even if moderated en-route
