"pain management clinic"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I attended the pain management clinic yesterday and found them extremely unhelpful and the doc involved very arrogant and did not hep in any way. all he said to me was why did your doctor send you here. I have been in extreme pain in my leg left side for nearly 3yrs and find unbearable at times and unable to walk outside but only about manage indoors. He didn't listen to what I told him. All he said well take a tablet for the pain. it was a complete waste of a day. I would defiantly not recommend this to anyone else, I am sure my doctor will be getting in touch himself.

Thank you for leaving your feedback on NHS Choices. I am sorry to hear that you found the consultant in Pain Management to be unhelpful when you visited regarding the pain in your leg. We are actively working to improve our care and this is not how we want our patients to feel about our hospital. To look into this further for you I will need more details from you. Please contact me through our PALS team on 01708 435 454 or email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk. Yours sincerely, Stephen Burgess Medical Director
