Attended an appointment yesterday. The clinic was having work done to it and this was causing issues to staff, and due to this there was a very long wait for appointments. I noticed that many people were unhappy and complaining about the wait to be seen. I understand their frustrations, but I would like to say that the staff were amazing. Everyone was clearly working really hard to see people as soon as possible, they all looked to be under immense pressure and extremely busy, but stayed polite and professional at all times. The lady on reception never stopped and remained calm and professional at all times, I don't know how she did it! The nurse I saw before the consultant was friendly, made me feel at ease, and treatment from her was second to none. I was the called into see the consultant who shook mine and my partners hand and introduced himself. This was a lovely touch and made me personally feel as he really cared. He explained everything clearly and was honestly one of the nicest drs I have ever seen! Pat on the back to this department. Thank you for your care.
