"communication of doctors to nurses or patients"

I was disgusted to see how my dad was treated by the doctors. The nursing staff have been fantastic and have tried to get answers from doctors who have to not been very good at communicating information or have just been extremely elusive. I tried several times to get hold of doctors and they have either dismissed my call or left nurses to deal with a very disgruntled version of me. This is not fair to the nurses and leaves patients and the family of patients confused and anxious. I actually got to speak to a doctor who was apologetic but this took 4 days of trying to find one. This is disgusting, especially as I can compare to hospital like Guys, where doctors and consultants have and been available when I have needed to speak to them. Lewisham you need to fix this and don’t leave nursing staff and patients in the dark.
