"Staff refuse to answer incomming calls"

About: Manor Hospital

No matter what time of day you phone the outpatients clinic the reception staff consider incoming calls an inconvenience which is someone else's job to deal with. I have tried for 3 days to get an SOS appointment but the phone rings and rings until they need to use it, then they pick up the phone and put is straight back down to clear the line so they can use it for their own purposes. I have watched staff take work into the corridor because the phone was too annoying to sit next to, maybe if they answered it the caller would not keep ringing back!
