I was taken into hospital via ambulance due to pains in my tummy, as I'm pregnant I was seen pretty quickly, when I was called by the doctor, he was foreign and I couldn't quit understand what he was saying, which didn't help as I was scared for my baby. He asked the same question an I kept giving the same answer, he then disappeared for about 20 minuets, when he came back he said he would do a swap of down below, and take blood. E then left again for a further 15 minuets, when he returned he explained the procedure. ( I'm not sure of the name of the equipment ) he had a nurse with him who was also foreign, she began to undress me wen though I was than capable of doing it myself and then he put lube on the 'vaginal clamp' the doctor never told me what he was going to do or when he was going to do it, he made it very uncomfortable and painful that I ended up crying, it took him about 5 minuets before he even inserted the clamp in the right place. My partner was with me and knew the doctor didn't know what he was doing. They then left again for 10 minuets and came back to take blood, I explained that wen I had previously been admitted to hospital that they couldn't take blood because I had not eaten that day and I explained that I hadn't eaten today so he wouldn't get any, but insisted to proceed. He put the band around my wrist to pump up my veins, I said it hurt and he stuck the needle straight into my hand and took several attempts until blood began to pour out. He never checked the baby or my stomachs even though I'm pregnant. And he sent us home without giving us an explanation or results.
"Painful, discomforting and rude"
