"Total shambles"

About: Western Eye Hospital

My experience with the Ophthalmology department has been terrible. When I turned up for my original appointment in early November I was told I'd have to wait at least 3 or 4 hours as 3 doctors had not turned up. I got another appointment in late November and was told I've got glaucoma and that I'd be contacted within 2 months as I'd need treatment. Since then I've heard nothing (nearly 4 months now) and I've been desperately trying to make contact to get treatment - I can't speak to anyone who knows anything. I've left voice mail messages and get no reply and the latest I've heard today is that I was discharged in November and I need to speak to my GP! The whole administration system is a total mess and no one I've spoken to seems to care. Computer says 'no'.
